At Scholarships for Higher Education (S4HE), we are honored to have the opportunity to support these deserving individuals on their educational journey. Our scholarship program aims to provide financial assistance to exceptional students who demonstrate remarkable potential and determination.

Sponsorship Options:  Creating opportunities for deserving students to access quality education is a collective effort. S4HE offers various sponsorship options that allow individuals, organizations, and businesses to contribute to our mission. Here are multiple opportunities to help support these outstanding students:

1. Full Sponsorship: With full sponsorship ($200/year for high school students, and $600/year for college-level students), you can support one or more specific students throughout their academic journey. Your sponsorship directly impacts the lives of these exceptional individuals, enabling them to focus on their studies and achieve their goals.
2. Shared Sponsorship: Sharing sponsorship with family and/or friends allows you to join and participate in the program with a lesser financial commitment.
3. Donation to the General Fund: If you prefer to contribute to the overall cause of S4HE, you can donate to our General Fund. Every contribution, whether one-time or monthly payments, helps us provide scholarships, support student programs, and expand our reach to help more students in need.

Student Requirements and Selection Process: To receive a scholarship from S4HE, students must showcase their commitment to academic excellence and personal growth. These requirements include maintaining a 9.0 out of 10.0 average over the previous school year and sustaining a minimum grade average of 8.5 while in the program and receiving assistance. These high standards ensure that our scholarships are awarded to students who consistently demonstrate exceptional dedication and achievement.

In addition to high academic standards, students must demonstrate financial need.  Many of these students come from families where the parents work six days in the fields, often with monthly salaries around $200 – $250.  Most families have multiple children, and often our older students have to help out with childcare.  There are many challenges for these families including very poor living conditions (no running water, no electricity, and no access to the Internet).  These students and their parents, with your help, overcome many hurdles that most of us don’t even think about. In their application process, students must write a letter that outlines dreams for the future and are interviewed by two or more committee members.
